When I first started blogging I had no idea I was doing it all wrong! Back then having some customisable Instagram templates would have been so handy. I used to spend every day chasing my tail, trying to get everything done. Some evenings I would sit down, exhausted, and realise I had nothing ready to post. Ugh!
Has this ever happened to you? I used to find it pretty stressful, and just when I wanted to tune out from a busy day, and catch up on a favourite TV show, instead I would be trying to find a lovely image or quote to post.
Have you been there too? The reality is that sometimes we need a little help. Running your own creative business isn’t for the feint-hearted – there is always SO MUCH to do! If you are running your business on a small budget and wearing all the hats, you will know what I mean. And I have been there too, so I feel your pain!
There came a point when I realised I needed to do something about it! I invested the next 18 months learning from experts about all things blogging, social media and running an online creative business. I was also lucky enough to fulfil a life-long dream and do an illustration course. I decided to create Maker Biz Graphics to provide a service to busy creative business owners who need help with graphic design skills and ready-made graphics.
With this in mind, I have created something for you . . .
(Drum roll please . . .!) I’ve made two free customisable Instagram templates* in Canva along with two of our beautiful wreath graphics. (Just sign up for the free version of Canva here first if you don’t have an account already and you’ll be good to go). All you need to do is add your own text, then change the text and background colours. (Tip: Adding your own branding colours will help to ensure you create a seamless look on your Instagram feed.) You are welcome to use them as many times as you like*.

Download the graphics and create some beautiful, eye-catching quotes (remembering to credit the author), or add your own text, using the templates and save them on your phone. Tip: save them in a folder in your Photos so they are easy to find. This way they are ready to go for when you need to post on the fly (or when you want to catch up on your favourite TV show!).
