Maker Biz Graphics (MBG) has two types of licence agreements; Standard and Extended. These terms may be different to other design businesses, so please check them carefully. We offer graphics and illustrations for business use, i.e. to enhance business branding, social media marketing, and designs for business use only. Our graphics and illustrations cannot be resold, redistributed or used on tangible products for personal use or for sale. The details of each licence type are explained below.

Standard Licence

Terms of use: Our digital download graphics and illustrations are png or jpeg file types and are for marketing and branding purposes only, with restrictions. Permission includes use of graphics and illustrations for blog posts and social media marketing. They can also be used for small production runs of business materials under 500 copies that are designed to be downloaded and printed on products that are free, e.g. free workbooks, worksheets, free eBooks, point of sale materials, posters, postcards, and when incorporated as part of a design, but not as the sole or stand-alone element. Graphics and illustrations must be incorporated into a greater artwork. NB: Downloads cannot be created for re-sale or commercial use and are all non-exclusive use. Downloads are licensed to the purchaser’s computer only and cannot be redistributed or shared with others in any way.

It is forbidden to redistribute or sell files as stand alone files or as part of a package, or to use or distribute them in any free downloads, even with friends.

MBG retains the copyright on all graphics. If used in logos, they cannot be trademarked and are non-exclusive, so may still be used by others in their designs.

Users of MBG graphics cannot create and sell any product or merchandise using MBG designs. MBG graphics cannot be used to create tangible products, or provide to others, for commercial use and cannot be used on products or services for company commercial sale, such as greetings cards, promotional items, any 3rd party print sites, advertising, packaging or provided commercially to others in editable formats, with the exception of digital and print magazines under 10,000 circulation.

Extended Licence

Terms of use: Includes the same terms of use as our Standard Licence but should be used when more than 500 copies are designed to be downloaded and/or printed including business cards, logos, and marketing materials (free or for sale), with the exception of use for digital or print magazines with a circulation under 10,000 copies. *Please note express written permission is needed from MBG for any use of graphics or illustrations over 10,000 copies/distribution and there may be an extra charge.

NB: All downloads are not for re-sale or commercial use with the exception of digital and print magazines. All graphics are non-exclusive use only.
